Karen Fergusson Playgroup Coordinator
Kia orana everybody! My name is Karen Fergusson and I have been the Playgroup Coordinator at our Family Space Centre since July 2019. I love being a part of a "whanau" centre like ours and along with a great team of people, I love doing what I do!
Susan Claire Fundraising Manager
Susan works two and a half hours a week as our fundraiser at The Family Space. She helps make sure that we receive money to continue to run our essential programmes and activities. When Susan isn't fundraising for The Family Space, she is coordinating a driving programme for former refugee women, swimming, running marathons or looking after her own twins.

Matthew Blair Financial Manager
Matt from Micro Accounting and Tax Limited is our Finance Administrator. He is a local business owner that is happy to support the work of the Family Space.

Chrissy Edwards Governance Board Trustee
My name is Chrissie Edwards, I am married to Benjamin and have three busy kids. I am part of the wonderful Gateway whānau and currently reside in Lower Hutt. My background has always been working with tamariki and I am currently a kaiako at a early learning centre, where I am blessed to spend my days learning alongside tamariki and their whānau and continuing in my passion to see tamariki reach their full potential.

My name is Rosemary Sutton and it is my pleasure to be able to assist as a Governance Board Trustee for a family-oriented organisation such as The Family Space.

Phil Coates Governance Board Chair
My name is Phil Coates and I’m the Chair of the Family Space Trust and also the Senior Pastor of Gateway Baptist Church. My wife & I have three children who are now in their 20’s and we’ve loved watching them grow up and mature as young adults. I am passionate about seeing marriages and families thrive in every way, and I’m a Trustee of Family Space to do what I can to make that happen for others in our community.
