Playgroup Donations

SUGGESTED PLAYGROUP DONATIONS


The Family Space can only exist financially with funding from the Ministry of Education, grants and your generous donations.  Unfortunately we continue to fall short with the playgroup donations.  After much deliberation we have made the decision to increase our suggested minimum donation so we can try to cover the costs of running such a high quality playgroup.  


New suggested casual donations are as follow:


$3 per child per session

$5 for two children per session

$6 for three children per session


You still have the option of paying a lump sum donation.  The bonus of paying this way is you can claim back 33% of your donations at the end of the financial year from the IRD.

Receipts will be issued for lump sum donations which you can use to claim back 33% of your donation as a rebate from IRD.   


Lump sum donations can be paid directly into our bank account at any time:


Westpac, Family Space Charitable Trust, 03-0521-0499732-00.  


Please include your child’s name, the term you are paying for and “Playgroup” in the reference field so a tax receipt can be sent to you.


These important donations help cover the costs of the playgroup coordinators salary, our cleaners salary, power and heating, activity consumables and also helps towards replacing damaged or old equipment.
