About the cost

The Family Space aims to help you strengthen your family life. We try to keep costs to an absolute minimum and we are grateful to the people and trusts who donate generously to help make this happen. Some of our programmes unfortunately do have costs associated with them to keep them going. We want everyone to be able to come to our activities and are committed to finding a way to enable this. So please contact us to find out about the costs and to find a way to make it work for you.

Community Support

The Family Space wants to support families by providing them with a place where information is available and a community worker is there to take the time to listen and journey with families for a better outcome.

Community support service can be very broad, the most common issues are: WINZ assistance, support in communication with other agencies and organisations, providing information, referring and practical assistance.

We acknowledge the privilege we have in working alongside families and we are committed to doing this in the most respectful and culturally sensitive way we know. All community work is supervised and we have policies in place to ensure the integrity of our staff and the privacy of our visitors.

This is a free service.
